Should cleaning the inside of a TV be covered by extended warranty?
Purchased an extended warranty on my Samsung CRT TV almost 5 years ago. Now it's arcing in the back when you turn it on. The arcing goes away after about 20 minutes or so. The warranty company wants me to hire a TV repair man to come out to my house and take the set apart and clean the inside first before they will pay to have it fixed. Does this sound right?
Hoping someone in the TV repair biz can answer this for me.

any TV with WARRANTY , no once allow to open the TV back cover and " touch " it !
beware of this issue, any one " clean 'in-side may damage the TV too. any CRT TV remain high voltage up to 40,000 KV even totally switch off the TV .
no such things AS " CLEAN INSIDE " before there repair for you .
the warranty company fully responsibility for every things. you need not to do that and not allow to open the back cover too.
warranty company can arrange their own TV repair man to clean inside and repair it , why you ?
i should said , some once try to be " funny " , if you arrange to clean- inside of TV , there may not cover any more warranty.
put them to consumers court, you win the case for sure.
