Looking for a good printer, all in one if possible, cheap ink, even if it's an older model?
I need a printer which is hopefully all in one, under $75 or so, works with vista without problems, has cheap ink replacements or easy refills. HOWEVER, the ink refill must work properly. My Canon IP 1800 does not recognize the cartridge as being new when it's refilled and you have to turn off the ink detection. So, hopefully something you can reset or recognizes ink levels even if refilled, has good quality, cheap cartridges (looking to stay OEM)
The only thing I came across was Kodak's new line, which is $120ish for printer (kind of high, but it is all in one so..), $10 for black ink, $15 for color - But if anyone has make/models that they like, i'd appreciate the information! =]
I recommend Epson cx series scanner/copier/printer (cx7400/cx8400) because of the print quality and the warranty. For a year Epson will express-ship a replacement and pick up the old one. Ink cartridges are expensive, but you can get cheap replacements which work well at http://ccs-digital.com/ink.asp for under $5. These are new cartridges. I do NOT recommend refilled ink cartridges because they are risky and void your warranty.
You can find the printers at buy.com, usually in the $60-$70 range BEFORE rebates, if any.
