A few of the main things you need to know about the Xerox Phaser 6115 Printer using Xerox 6115 bulk toner is that it is actually a multifunction copier, printer, fax and scanner rolled into one. It offers many features and is a color laser printer, with color faxing capabilities as well. If you are in the market for all of these machines, this model may save you money.
The printing and copying speed is a little on the slow side, so if speed is what you need, then you may need to look elsewhere. But with all the other features this model offers, it may just offset the slow speed. This unit prints 5 pages per minute color, and 20 ppm black and white using Xerox Phaser toners. The copy speed runs at 5 ppm color and 12 ppm B/W. It can also scan at 43 ppm.
One important thing you need to know when considering this model is how it connects and what operating systems it supports. It does connect to your computer via a USB hub Ethernet 10 Base-T/100 Base-TX. As far as the supported operating systems, your pretty much cover with Windows 2000 through Windows Vista, so basically, if you have the newest version of Windows 7, then this system isn't going to work for you. Also supported is Apple Mac OS X 10.2 or later. It comes with all the necessary drivers, including Xerox CentreWare IS Embedded web server.

With full color faxing capabilities, and fax forwarding, this unit has a transmission speed of 33.6 kb per second. It is also Super G3 compatible, and offers email functions.
Whether you are printing on plain paper or transparencies, this unit has you covered. It can also be used for printing on card stock, and making labels, or custom envelopes. The maximum paper size is 8.5 inches by 14 inches, which is Legal size. Also, because it is a laser printer, the colors won’t bleed if it gets wet.
You should be aware, that the Xerox Phaser 6115 Printer is geared toward office use. Weighing in at 73 pound and having dimensions of 20.8" x 23" x 20.9", it is a quite sizable unit. It takes 3 color cartridge toner and one Xerox Phaser toner, and these seem to run right around $50 each. The Phaser 6115 cartridge can be found online or in stores. It also has a duty cycle of 35000 impressions a month. The price for this printer is approximately $520, so for all that it does and all that it has to offer, the price is certainly right.
